Urban Fusion...An Eclectic Experience Concert Series

A Jazz, Hip Hop, Gospel, R&B, Comedy, Spoken Word, Dance and Fashion “Fusion” Featuring the Mid-Atlantic Regions Finest Performers! Scheduled for Thursday, April 19th, 2007 the first of four quarterly Concert Series events, URBAN FUSION is poised to bring the masses the ultimate entertainment experience all while giving back to the community with donated food items. Hosted by the very funny and talented comedian, Eddie Bryant ('Coming to the Stage' and BET's 'Comic View' fame) guests enjoy: a complimentary buffet, cd giveaways, drinks are ON THE HOUSE from 6:30p -7:30p - compliments of Alizé - and of course access to THE EVENT OF THE YEAR!

Talented Emerging Artists interested in performing before a Taken audience and be recorded for a future cable broadcast should follow the SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS listed below:

Sponsorship packages are available to business owners/investors. These packages include and are not limited to: naming rights, radio promotions, venue and stage background signage, event tickets, website marketing via Taken By Storm Entertainment, which may include sponsor's website linkage and home page banner setup, as well as access to the hundreds of patrons who support the local arts and community-building initiatives. GUEST TICKETS
$10 via advance registration and before 7:30pm on the day of the event; $14 after 7:30pm. We request that guests bring a non-perishable food item; . Non-perishable food items are not limited to one can good!! Rice, beans, coffee, sugar, tea, noodles, cereal, flour, etc. are gladly accepted!!! Your food items will be donated to the Washington Capital Area Food Bank.

Taken By Storm Entertainment

Founded in 2003, Taken By Storm Entertainment is the brainchild of Sheila M. Crawford, President and CEO of the promotions, artist development, marketing and special events planning entertainment organization based in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Taken plans, organizes and hosts 'Emerging Artists' showcases, which provide a platform on which today's brightest Emerging Artists can hone, expose and enhance their craft. Taken is also on the cusp of becoming a premier liaison to major casting agencies in search of promising, on-the-rise actors and models for tv, film and print projects. In addition, all showcase events incorporate the spirit of giving back to the community. All participants and spectators are asked to donate non-perishable food items for distribution to area aid agencies that support our fellow brothers and sisters who are in need. Special incentives are built into each event to encourage giving and to feel good about making a difference in someone's life.
